Pastor Carr, a native of Wallace, NC, was born on November 28, 1970. He is a 1993 graduate of North Carolina Central University, Durham, NC. Pastor Carr was baptized in Jesus' name, and filled with the Holy Ghost at age 14 under his late grandfather Bishop James Kenan's leadership. He also became the Minister of Music of his home church, Church of God & True Holiness.
At age 19, he accepted his calling into the ministry. It was at NCCU where he met and began a fellowship with Bishop John Bennett out of which the Yeshuwa and Elohim Conferences developed for each relative church. In the past, Yeshuwa Conferences have been blessed through the wisdom of Dr. Marvin Sapp, Dr. Zachary Tims, Dr. Marcus Bishop, Bishop Lambert Gates, and many other distinguished pastors.
On October 3, 2003, Pastor Carr was concecrated into the Bishopric by Bishop John Bennett at the 2003 Elokim Conference.
Today, Pastor Carr is the proud father of three boys: Davelon Rumal Carr, II., Daelon Ra'sean Carr, and Davon Ramon Carr. He is the Spritual father of the entire church body of Greater Yeshuwa Temple, and the Vice Presider of the Churches of the Apostolic Revival International. Pastor Carr is also the owner of New Vision Beauty Salon in Beulaville, NC, and Tina's Childcare Center in Kenansville, NC.
First Lady Elesha Carr, a native of Wallace, NC, was born on April 14, 1981. She was baptized in Jesus' name and received the Holy Ghost at New Born Church of God & True Holiness in Rocky Point, NC under the leadership of Bishop George Billie. On April 14, 1999, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Pastor Davelon Carr and became the first lady of the former Yeshuwa Temple Church of God & True Holiness. Today she is honored to be the first lady of Greater Yeshuwa Temple. She is very active in the ministry, and is often called upon for counseling and
consulations. First Lady Carr is also the proud owner of New Vision Beauty Salon in Beulaville, NC.
She is a dedicated mother to her three sons and wife to her husband. She is dedicated to protecting the heart of her husband, and to seeing that the vision that God has given him is fulfilled.
